Branching RP threads?

With all the overlapping storylines in the main JLE roleplay thread, I thought it'd be interesting to experiment with branching story arcs in separate threads, starring characters who may or may not be directly involved in the JLE's adventures (such as Lady Justice and HYDRA).

Does this sound feasible, or is it enough keeping track of one thread?

I quite like that idea.

This raises the prolem of cross-thread interaction. If two threads are in the same place at the same time (or even different times if time travel gets involved) then how would we handle that?

I've considered the idea before, and it raises the problem that 2nd mentioned. If we do that, then some characters will be completely isolated from others. Now, were we still toying around with that future timeline thing, this would work, as it was never meant to have any interaction with the present timeline. For the timeline that we do have, however, dividing the blog into separate threads would probably only stagnate things or cause (further) confusion.

Fair point -- I hadn't considered that. :P

Makes sense. I suppose we can work something out in the future.

I actually had a similar idea, except that it involved alternate universes or "What if...?" stories.
