Something seems to be wrong with the current blog, but we're supposed to start the spring blog in ten days anyway. If the issue persists, I will post the spring blog early. Be on the lookout for it. That is all.
Good evening.
Before proceeding with anything, you should know and understand that this wiki is a place for roleplay. Articles are reserved for participating characters. If joining the roleplay is something you would like, there is a short process involved—first-timers have to get their concept approved before they can start posting.
If you'd like to meet the fellas and move forward, you can follow this link to join our live chat server. We'll be there to offer guidance and a rundown of where the story is at.
Thank you.

Minor villains count, though the phlebiac brothers are long gone.
...Or are they?
(Also, Goldfin's been looking for Chance...)
(Typing this a second time, since Wikia is being contemptible.)
So, I stayed up all night because I was manically exploring a certain idea I had all of a sudden—a new and mysterious anti-hero whose mission would, in all likelihood, prove a little game-changing. We would not be losing Maretropolis, but the side-arc I have in mind would 1) tie up some unsatisfactory business and loose ends, 2) challenge the current status quo, and 3) give the Four Horses arc some meaning in light of the overarching story.
I can initiate this side-arc as soon as a certain event that we've lately been anticipating in the role play occurs. However, there are a few things I must know before I begin.
1) Are there any new villains planned for the future?
2) Is anyone opposed to such an idea?
3) I need a complete list of the angelic/demonic "things" in Equestria. Here's what I know:
The MLP wiki has a "Family and relatives" article, and I recently realized that this might be a good idea for our wikia. In this one article, we can set forth substantial information about Dark Moon, Shattered Soul, Sapphire Sky, Freeheart's unnamed brother, Ironworks's parents, etc. What do you think?
I've considered the idea before, and it raises the problem that 2nd mentioned. If we do that, then some characters will be completely isolated from others. Now, were we still toying around with that future timeline thing, this would work, as it was never meant to have any interaction with the present timeline. For the timeline that we do have, however, dividing the blog into separate threads would probably only stagnate things or cause (further) confusion.

I'm more reluctant to agree with that one than the others, as it may foster unnecessary rivalries. And the idea of having a team is that they shouldn't have to fight those enemies alone.
ShadowPirateX wrote: I guess I'm just misunderstanding, but you said Goldfin can't survive intense heat. But she does have some resistance to fire, right?
Anyways, the reason for that specific number was in case a character was resistant to something but not completely immune.
What I'm saying is that we should not be too generous with resistances. Goldfin only resists heat at extreme depths; therefore, it would be unreasonable to say that she has a resistance to intense heat. Even if it's tempting, such an ability should not be labeled a resistance.
On a loosely related note, weaknesses should be defined as chinks in a character's armor or something which affects them particularly strongly. Blunt trauma is not one of Goldfin's weaknesses, even though she's been subjected to it on multiple occasions. Ice, however, is a weakness because it hampers her powers. Likewise, fire is one of Bloodstorm's weaknesses because it is particularly potent against him.
Basically, resistances are something the character is 80 or higher percent immune to, right?
Where did you get that number?
My only concerns are that the theme songs will discourage creative license, as it provides an additional link to a character's source material, and that we might go overboard with resistances and possibly include something which is not even reasonable.
The former concern should require no further explanation. The latter may need an example. The inclusion of a resistances section might tempt me to say that Goldfin is resistant to fire. Sure, she thrives in the ocean, but is it reasonable to say that her connection to water lets her survive intense fire? I should think not. But the temptation is there. So if we include resistances, we should exercise some caution in listing them.
A couple of new ideas for infobox rows have come up in recent weeks, and they are worth discussing, if not approving. Of course, that may change, depending upon how the discussions go.
So, here's what we've got:
Weaknesses
Theme songs
Resistances
